Makes me wanna be a part of Phillip Lim’s cool girl gang. SONOMAMA そのままで meaning “as the way it is/as it is/ as the way you are/as you are” is the title of 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2013 collection which embodies the nonchalant ease and eclectic style of the partners, girlfriends and lovers of the racer generation.

LFW IS COMING UP

LFW is one week away and I am in the middle of my dissertation, but I have been asked to work for Kristian Aadnevik and organize his AW 13 show, so can’t say no to that. Thou it will be a hectic week towards Sunday, I am very excited to do a new show for him as each season gets better and better. This photo is from his SS 13 show, stunning collection. ALL THAT GLITTERS

Samuel Liebert first solo-show, All That Glitters at The Cob Gallery in Camden. 14 large-scale, intimate portraits of different personalities within the London’s fringe cultures. Knowing them personally, Samuel has captured their pride and individual identities on stunning black and white prints.

I got the chance to know Samuel in my first year here in London. It is very exciting to see how well he is doing and I’m looking forward to see what is next for him in the future as he is now set to go back to Brooklyn, US.

Ben Howard is out with new stuff. This video makes me wanna go back home to Norway and watch the sea from my favorite spot on the beach that is close to my mum’s house. Ben Howard is playing in London next week. I should go.

“Constructing a suit is an elaborate process where the designer has to merge the fabric with the body and its movements. But when tailoring a tuxedo, sartorial finesse and elegance have to be added.”

DOUBLE O SEVEN

I love that they painted the movie posters before. Now that the new James Bond movie – Skyfall – is all over the streets with its hi-tech HD photographed posters, it is only fitting to look back at these great posters from the first 007 movies. I have seen all of the James Bond movies – at least once – so I have to go to the cinema and see Skyfall too! It will be cool to see how they have used my city, London, as the main location, and yes to see James Bond dressed up in Tom Ford.
